Job Description

HUMAN RESOURCES EMPLOYEE RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

The candidate will be responsible managing employee relations within the Bank.  The candidate will act as a liaison between the employer and employee, including receiving and effectively resolving complaints, updating employees with changes to company policy, advising management regarding HR policies and procedures and generally helping to resolve conflict.  The candidate will become a subject matter expert regarding the Bank’s HR policies and procedures.  The candidate will also be responsible for managing the Bank’s unemployment claims.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, a minimum of three to five years’ experience in Human Resources and/or employee relations, and possess a demonstrated knowledge of employment law.  The ability to demonstrate an ability to work with confidential information, exercise sound judgment and communicate effectively is a requirement.  Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills are required.  Retail banking experience is preferred but not required.  The ability to work late and/or flexible hours is required.  EO/AA Employer: Title VII/Protected Veterans/Disability Status
